Twisted in warm metal and cool cool air
so much harder than the hot hot sheets I've become accustomed to
but clearly softer, fingers clutching
cotton gathered in nails
limbs lifted to the liquid fire
yet moving
side to side to side and up and slam
easy
my song pouring with sharp corners
ripped pages of poetry as lips
and kissing kissing kissing
to the lick and bite
before it all made sense
right as I lost mine
and there you were
in the sweet southern blacklight
pale skin brushed with moonlight
shadows
though dawn played in your tired tired eyes
while you caught your equilibrium
I danced with disbelief
pebbles in toes
and a lean with a laugh
deep sighs and a mona lisa smile
it sometimes goes that way
down and to the right
